Utilizing that article, I pulled quotes and tips to collaborate with the social media team and created posts for the Loma Linda University Children’s Health Facebook and Instagram pages. To maximize exposure, I crafted a pitch to local LA outlets and secured a five-minute segment on KTLA worth over $5,000 in PR value. The project was also a Public Relations Society of America – Inland Empire Chapter (PRSA-IE) 2020 Polaris Award Winner in the category of Special Event Ongoing/Recurring. Polaris Awards recognize exemplary public relations efforts that successfully incorporate sound research, planning, implementation, and evaluation.</image:caption>
